Archaeological and Research Documentation Photography

This was an incredible project to be a part of! A visual record of fieldwork exploring landscapes and sites identified through oral histories. Photography documented soil and water sampling, archaeological searches, field observations, and areas being investigated for markers of cultural and historical significance. The project combined documentary photography with careful recording of the research process and the places connected to community knowledge and stories.
